Target groups
- Local NGO’s in Madagascar that are operative in the water sector.

- The drinking water company Jirama (together with VMW).
Objective
Organisational and institutional reinforcement of the local actors that are involved in water management, water supply and sanitation. Lessons learned are shared.
Main results
- The reinforcement of the technical capacities of the partners, particularly concerning sustainable supply of water and sanitation.
- The methodology of the partners has improved to give a better answer to the actual challenges.
- The methods of the partners to manage knowledge has improved.
- Standardisation and dissemination of innovative models developed by the Programme (a.o. delegation with external service providers, second line structures,..).
- The co-operation between PROTOS and his partners are overheard in the national, sector and regional debates on water theme’s in which they have build their expertise.
